Frankly I wouldn’t have gone to Kiev in January unless I was asked to go but there are a couple of things I highly recommend in this surprisingly pretty city.

Short trip to Vienna

I have just come back from the beautiful Vienna. It was for a conference so I didn’t get too much time to explore and I’m kicking myself that I didn’t get up earlier and jog around the ‘Ring’ which is just a few kilometers and goes around the city. By walking around you get to [...]
Pleasantly surprised by Moscow

Before I came to Moscow I found out that everyone who has been here has an opinion. And those opinions vary massively. I love Slovenia. Really, I think the tourist board should put me on commission. I have just finished my third business trip, I still adore it and hate leaving. Luckily everyone speaks English so it is very easy to get around too. Ljubljana itself is small and very easy to walk around. You will see [...]
Serene Sarajevo

Sarajevo enchanted me.The scars of the war that ended just 15 years ago are very visable. There is barely a building that doesn’t have bullet holes in it. The city is nestled in a valley of stunning mountain ranges. I want to go back and explore this region, ideally driving down from Slovenia (one of [...]
